While at Club Martino, we visited Zoo Ave, right down the street. Zoo
Ave is home to non-releasable rehabilitated and/or confiscated birds
and animals, both native and nonnative. They have a rehabilitation center
and a breeding program for some endangered species. Many of the birds
and animals that have been released choose to stay on the grounds. Zoo
Ave teaches that wild animals should be left in the wild and protected.
It is a beautiful message and a lovely spot that is a favored place
to come for the locals.
