Days 5 through 8 we stayed at Cariblue Bungalows on
the Caribbean Side of Costa Rica south of Puerto Viejo

When we first arrived we called it "Stinky Town" because it smelled awful. We later figured out that we had arrived on trash day so it was the combo of trash on the curb and the garbage truck that smelled SOOOO bad.

There is no place to put or take scrap metal metal in Costa Rica so this happens where there is no place to bury it.

People burn everything they can and put everything else on the curb for pick up.
