Our Costa Rica Trip 1999

Day 4 was spent in the Sirena area of Parque National Corcovado

The Sirena Ranger Station is where the Naturalist Guides are schooled and trained. It is further south than the station that most of the tours are given at, thus more pristine. It took two hours over the bounding sea to get there! There were a few times, after a hearty Tico breakfast, that we wondered if we were going to make the trip without mishap!

Once again, aside from our guide and a few rangers, we were the only humans here.......

(Squirrel Monkey - squirreling around!)

......albiet, sweaty, muddy humans!
