Canopy Tour!!!

This is where we thought we would be getting into a gondola for a leisurely view of the canopy from above. NOT!
This is also where Linda and Lisa agreed to kill the travel agent (if they survived) for not explaining what we were going to have to do. Although we did have a chance to back out we agreed that we had come this far and would give it a try.......(try not to scream, try not to cry, and try not to wet our pants).
It did not bode well when our guide started out by calmly knocking a scorpion off one of his leather gloves we were all given to help us "brake" when we started to zip along the wires too quickly. GULP!!

 

The main area for the canopy tour. Where you start and finish your adventure. Good thing we went to the bathroom!
Lisa and Linda suit up to get ready for the adventure. Not the happiest campers in the world but putting on brave faces.
This stuff was kind of heavy and not real comfortable.

It must be mentioned that Bob lost two bets here. He bet that both gals would scream (a lot). Reid won more beers! (cervezas)
Here goes Reid, from the top of the mountain down into the forest. This was the longest run.....the fastest zip.
Linda taking the trip tandem. We could have backed out at this last run but we all took it. Linda and Lisa went with guides to help brake. The guide's gloves were smoking at the end of the run. Reid didn't brake, he just zoomed.
Now doesn't that look like a happy face???
